there is a strong emphasis on additive manufacturing of biomaterials and
medical devices, which provide patient-specific properties that facilitate
optimal clinical performance and/or local-stimuli responsive therapeutic
action. (DCU MEDeng)
- This
is the focus of the I-Form national centre, co-Directed from DCU. Extensive
pre-process, in-situ monitoring, and post process data are recorded. This an
model output provide input for AI models (APT@DCU)
- 3-D
printing: DCU's 3D printing facility contains a suite of printers that can
print using a broad range of materials, have a range of printing techniques and
can also print to low micron resolution.
