ECIU event on micro-credentials - key-note by Commissioner Schmit
ECIU University invites you to the presentation of its third micro-credentials paper on 17 June at 9:45 CET at an online event.
Commissioner Nicolas Schmit (Jobs and Social Rights) confirmed giving a key note on the European commitments to micro-credentials and the to be adopted Council Recommendation on micro-credentials ensuring Member State’s commitment.
Next to European Commission experts, ECIU University micro-credentials experts will present the practical implementation and results of the pilots of the past 2,5 years including digital credentials and the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI). Part of the programme are Mairéad Nic Giolla Mhichíl, Conchúr Mac Lochlainn, Henri Pirkkalainen, Sheela Kiiskila, and Miikka Palvalin.
An extensive paper with our views on the micro-credentials movement, an insight our pilot results, will be presented. There will be enough time for an open discussion, as we are curious to learn about your views on the topic.
