We are delighted to welcome Lisa Pohl to her new roles as EU Policy Officer for the ECIU  and Head of the newly established Linköping University EU Office. In this dual capacity, she will help shape LiU’s European engagement and support Olga Wessels, Head of the ECIU Brussels Office, in ECIU's strategic outreach to EU institutions and networks.

Lisa brings valuable experience from her previous role at the European Commission, where she worked as a communications officer for Horizon Europe at the Research Executive Agency (REA). Her work focused on Cluster 2, 3, and 6 of the current framework programme, covering areas such as culture, security, the environment, and research infrastructures. With a background in political science and academic experience in Germany, Finland, Iceland and Sweden, Lisa is well prepared to navigate the complexities of EU policy and innovation landscapes.

As she steps into her new roles, she is eager to   support the wider ECIU community. She is looking forward to strengthening European cooperation, fostering meaningful policy dialogue, and helping to shape the future of research and innovation at this pivotal moment for Europe.
