Project overview

The main aim of this project is to create and foster a network of researchers focusing on diverse topics in sustainable consumption behaviour (SCB) research. SCB reinforces circular economy research by adding knowledge on consumer attitudes and decision-making while seeking to increase consumer eco-literacy and environmental consciousness, reduce environmental impacts, extend products’ life cycles, etc. Focusing on different consumption areas (e.g., food, fashion, energy) provides additional value for the SCB pattern analysis. Thus, SCB research unites knowledge of different disciplines and creates presumptions for their transfer to SCB policy and business practice. With this project, we expect to increase the level of interdisciplinary knowledge on SCB research, share experiences and develop expertise in innovative research methods, foster joint research collaboration and project proposal development, and create a collaborative and engaging atmosphere for continuous academic activity.
