As part of the CREATE project, the University of Aveiro hosted an intensive, three-hour Creathon-like workshop, bringing together a mix of participants, perspectives, and ideas.

These so-called co-creation workshops are a central part of the CREATE project, because they put the people who will use, organise, and support Creathons at the heart of the development process.

As Catarina Lelis (University of Aveiro and involved in CREATE) highlighted:

‘It was highly rewarding in the sense of how well the three teams contributed with "mind-blowing" (so they say) prototypes. The energy, diversity, and enthusiasm of the participants made this workshop truly special. In just three hours, we witnessed how bringing different perspectives together can spark creativity and lead to inspiring results.’
