The new ECIU University magazine was launched today. It brings together stories from across the network of 13 universities that highlight real impact beyond research and education.
While ECIU University is known for its challenge-based learning model, the magazine’s content clearly shows that the alliance is equally active in research, innovation and valorisation.
In-depth interviews with key figures such as John Doyle (Vice-President for Research at Dublin City University) and Laura Paternoster (ECIU European Funding Advisor) explain how the network supports researchers through dedicated infrastructure, mobility funds, seed programmes and bottom-up initiatives.
Another strong focus lies on bringing research to society. Through visual showcases and best practices from our partner universities, the magazine illustrates how innovation bridges the gap between academia, business and communities. Interviews with innovation leaders like Mindaugas Bulota (Head of National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre at Kaunas University of Technology) place this work in a broader European context.
Beyond strategy and policy, we highlight human stories. Students and researchers share how ECIU University challenges, start-up initiatives and awards have influenced their personal and professional development.
