ECIU is excited to invite you to its high-level event "From Valorisation to Impact", taking place in Brussels on 12 March, 2025. The event builds upon the current EU competitiveness discussions and defines what is needed to better valorise the knowledge produced by universities, and enhance the impact in society. It also incudes an innovation showcase, showing concrete inventions from ECIU partners.

14:00 – Welcome by Jan-Ingvar Jönsson, ECIU President and Rector Linköping University (Sweden)
14:15 – Presentation of ECIU paper ‘From Valorisation to Impact’ by Mindaugas Bulota, Chair of the ECIU Innovation Directors Group and Head of the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania)
14:30 – Key note by András Inotai, Acting Head of the ‘Taskforce on Startups & Scaleups’ and Head of Unit for ‘Innovation and Access to Finance’ European Commission
14:50 – Q&A Mr Inotai, Mr Bulota, and the audience, including university and societal stakeholder representatives
15:30 – Impact Case Studies (pitches)
