BOOstinG Innovation and Entrepreneurship through European Universities
BOOGIE-U
Project overview
BOOGIE-U addressed the Higher Education system and especially its obstacles in boosting innovation and entrepreneurship in the EU. This system is still fragmented and requires a deep process of modernisation and co-creation with external players in order to address the increasing intra-EU innovation divide. Both interactions within higher education institutions (HEIs) and with external stakeholders play a pivotal role in this effort by pooling competences and resources across local, regional, and European knowledge ecosystems.
In its Innovation Vision Action Plan, BOOGIE-U contributed to EU efforts to boost EU sustainable economic growth and competitiveness by executing novel models for increasing Innovation and Entrepreneurial (I&E) capacity within the consortium.
BOOGIE-U was funded under the EIT Higher Education Initiative for European Alliances
