Project overview
The ECIU University Research Institute for Smart European Regions enabled 12 ECIU University member institutions to create new model of research and innovation, based on a virtual collaborative environment. SMART-ER called scientists and researchers of the all the ECIU member universities for joint research initiatives and project activities.
Jointly, the institutions piloted capacity building programmes and Citizen Science initiatives were used as a testbed to put into practice all the mechanisms and structures built.
SMART-ER was funded under H2020-EU.5 - SCIENCE WITH AND FOR SOCIETY that enables European University Alliances to build their research dimension.
